Genetics: Indica dominant hybrid of Gelato 33 and something that’s a secret. OOOOO – a mystery.

Appearance: Round, fat buds that are dark green, purple, and very frosty.

Smell: Earthy, spicy, and dark chocolate or coffee smell. I can’t pinpoint it.

Taste: The taste starts of piney and fruity and finishes with a savory, buttery taste.

Daniel’s 1-hit Review: If you’ve read my stuff, you know I like indicas. The truffle strains are a newer genetic that are all indica dominant, so I tend to like all the truffle strains coming through. This Black Truffle is round, well-grown buds. It looks, smells, and smokes great. I didn’t make me as lazy as some indicas do, but it definitely relaxed my brain and slowed the racing in my brain down. Black truffle is a good ‘all-rounder’ and a good ‘go with the flow’ strain.

Here’s the cool part. The Delta 9 THCa can be over 30%. This is not chemically altered or sprayed with anything. These are legit cannabis buds that are harvested before the D9 THC gets ‘hot’ (over .3%). Delta 9 THC and Delta 9 THCa are very similar compounds. In fact, THCa is a precursor to THC. However, they are 100% different, so the Farm Bill counts this as hemp.
