I love developing new products.
Developing new products is awesome for 2 reasons:
- It keeps Better Than Nine ahead of the legitimate competition. The wannabe companies that buy 3rd party products and slap their brand on it will never catch up because they’re relegated to the products that the white labelers make and those products are always very generic.
- Developing new products is one of my favorite things to do. When we were limited to only CBD isolate and full spectrum extracts, there was only so much I could do. However, now that so many cannabinoids are available in isolated forms, I can create products that cause specific effects and then reproduce to products with perfect precision every time. I’m sure that everyone reading this can relate to how frustrating it is when the ‘same’ product is different every time you buy it. That’s not professional quality work.
I’ve been reviewing Better Than Nine’s 2021 performance and planning for 2022 during December. I noticed a glaring inadequacy BTN had. We didn’t offer any products that provide the medical benefits of hemp that didn’t have psychoactive effects.
When I started Better Than Nine, it was all about legal THC products. This is awesome and we have a fantastic line of products that are legal and change your perception of reality. However, we don’t have a product that you can take before work and can be sure that you’re not going to have any gaps in productivity…Until now!
I formulated a full spectrum daily gummy that is essentially a cannabinoid multivitamin. Each gummy has CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN, Delta 8 and Delta 10. I went light on the D8 and D10, so that you can safely take 1 gummy whenever you want and don’t have to worry about things getting loose and a Loco Ocho Diary adventure happens. There is only between 2-3mg of total THCs in each gummy. This isn’t enough to cause you to get lost in your own yard. If you take more than 1, then you’re entering pychoactiveville.
Better Than Nine’s Full Spectrum Daily Gummies are for people with lower tolerances for THC and for people that want a “Full Spectrum” hemp product to supplement their THC-dominant cannabis use. I take 1 of these every morning and every evening because they make my mind and body feel better overall, without getting spacy. I can usually handle a 10mg delta 8 or 10mg delta 10 for daytime use, but sometimes even 10mg can cause me to lose focus for a bit. This isn’t a problem for 80% of my daily activities, however, it is bad when I’m doing calculus and developing new products. Forgetting to move a decimal one spot screws everything up by a factor of 10. I’m allowed to be off by 3-5%, but 100% off is unacceptable and expensive.
I don’t have product pics of the new gummies up yet, but they are the flavors and texture of Sour Patch Kids. Each bag contains at least 65 grams of gummies in assorted flavors – red, blue, yellow, orange, and green. 65 grams is about 25 pieces, but sometimes they are broken and half as big. So instead of us trying to count them and sort them by size, we found it’s faster and more accurate to bag them by weight. And since they aren’t wildly psychoactive like our other gummies, I’m not as OCD about every single one being exactly the same.
