1000mg Full Spectrum Bacon Pet Tincture

A pet product is long overdue. I had pet products formulated and made for my old companies close to 10 years ago and I just hadn’t done them for BTN. I think it was because all the dogs I was friends with got old and died and no one got a new dog, so I wasn’t around dogs… out of sight out of mind. However, I recently had a string of clients ask if they could give our current products to their dogs for the same reasons we use them – soreness, stiffness, anxiety, humping everything, etc. While our current products are safe for animals when accounting for their smaller body weights, this made me realize that Better Than Nine needed a pet product.

Meet Better Than Nine’s 1000mg Bacon Flavored Pet Tincture.

One bottle is 30ml of MCT oil infused with 1000mg of cannabinoids and delicious bacon flavor. I can say delicious because I ate some and it tastes good.

The cannabinoid breakdown per 1ml is as follows: 25mg CBD, 5mg CBG, 2mg CBN, 1.3mg D8

This proprietary blend of cannabinoids can tackle a myriad of problems based on dose size. Lower doses are good for stiffness related to aging and ‘normal’ anxiety. Higher doses are better for serious issues and reducing bad anxiety like fireworks and storms. Just like people, animals come in many sizes, so we’ve made a chart to give you can idea of what dose to give your pet based on body weight:

Dosing Chart (pet’s weight):

<10 lbs. ~ 5-10 drops

11-20 lbs. ~ 10-20 drops

21-50 lbs.~ 20-30 drops (half dropper)

51-80 lbs.~ 30-40 drops

>80 lbs. ~. 40+ drops (full dropper)

Note: These are general dosing suggestions. Each pet is different and may need a smaller or larger dose to achieve the desired effects. DO NOT EXCEED 3 DOSES PER 24 HOURS

Here are some important things to know:

1. DO NOT administer this directly into your pet’s mouth using the dropper! It is glass and will break if they bite on it and can cause injury to you and your pet. Put the dose on food, treat, or bread and feed it to your pet.
2. It will take about an hour for this product’s full effects to start. Keep this in mind when preparing for fireworks or flight. Also, wait 1 hour before deciding to give your pet more.
3. Cannabinoids affect most mammals in very similar ways. The difference is that a dog doesn’t know what he’s eating and doesn’t understand pharmacology, so you have to do that for him. Treat your pet the same way you’d treat a child.

Recommended Use: For pets. Depending on dose, this can help pets find physical and mental relief from aging, noises, etc.

Directions: Use Dosing Chart above. Put appropriate dose on pet’s food or treat and feed it to them. DO NOT ADMINISTER DIRECTLY INTO THEIR MOUTHS FROM DROPPER – INJURY CAN OCCUR. Wait 1-1.5 hours before evaluating effects. For fireworks or storm anxiety, give dose to pet at least 1 hour before stressful event happens. Store at room temperature. Do Not refrigerate. This product is non-perishable.

Warnings: DO NOT ADMINSTER THIS PRODUCT BY PUTTING THE GLASS DROPPER DIRECTLY INTO AN ANIMAL’S MOUTH. THE PIPPETTE IS GLASS AND CAN BREAK AND CAUSE INJURY IF BITTEN. Do not give your pet more than the recommended dose. Keep out of reach of your pet because it tastes good and they’ll eat all of it if given the chance. If your pet has a reaction and seems to be ‘stoned’ or weird, you don’t need to waste money at the Vet ER. Just give them water and let them go to sleep. They’ll sleep it off and be fine in a few hours. However, it’s better to start with lower doses.
