Bubblegum Gelato Cannabis Strain Info – Boutique*

Genetics: Hybrid cross of Gelato #45 x Bubblegum.

Appearance: Chunky buds loaded with all the bright colors you can barely see due to the heavy trichome coverage.

Smell: Very candy and very sweet. I’ll say bubblegum.

Taste: Also candy and sweet with a tiny bit of gassy tartness.

Daniel’s 1-hit Review: This is a new Gelato strain for me. I’ve had gelato 45 and I’ve Bubblegum, but never their cross.

This Bubblegum Gelato is indoor from NorCal. It looks and smells similar to our other boutique ‘candy’ strains. This one smells more like pink Bubblegum than the LCG. Just like all these headies we get, this BGG is just impressive all the way around. The colors, touch, smell, structure, trichomes, everything is just premium.

The effects are also premium.

Genetically, BGG is a hybrid that I’d say leans indica. She smells like her parents. I’d say the effects are very hybrid. I tested this BGG yesterday around 5pm. The first think I liked was the taste. It tastes similar to the other gelato with something a little sweeter or something. I had to go do things, so my 1-hit was on the lighter side (and that turned out to be a good thing).

This Bubblegum Gelato hits fast and it hits hard. The effects were totally hybrid because I was energized and motivated to do things (sativa), but I didn’t know what to do and didn’t feel like stressing myself by worrying about it (indica).

It inspired me to make banana bread that turned out perfectly. To be fair, I had been ripening the bananas in a paper bag to make them perfect for bread, so it didn’t spontaneously make me want to bake bread. It did motivate me to execute my plan, tho. A cool thing about it was that it didn’t make me eat the whole loaf of bread.

I had one ‘responsibly sized’ piece with a glass of milk and that was all. Note – I’m generally very good at controlling munchies, but these BGG didn’t give me bad munchies with is amazing when there is a perfectly cooked banana bread on the counter.

If you like all the candy strains (gelato, runtz, zkittles), you will like Bubblegum Gelato. Idk how anyone can’t like these, other than thinking they are played out. It’s like good pizza to me. You can eat it everyday, but sometimes you want something different like Smokejack or NFA Burger.

Here’s the cool part. The Delta 9 THCa can be over 30%. This is not chemically altered or sprayed with anything. These are legit cannabis buds that are harvested before the D9 THC gets ‘hot’ (over .3%). Delta 9 THC and Delta 9 THCa are very similar compounds. In fact, THCa is a precursor to THC. However, they are 100% different, so the Farm Bill counts this as hemp.
