Forbidden Fruit Strain Info

Genetics: Sativa leaning hybrid cross of Cherry Pie and Tangie

Appearance: Forbidden Fruit looks funky. The buds are all dense and lumpy. They have all the colors – Dark and light greens, purples, blues, and oranges. They are absolutely covered in trichomes.

Smell: This smells like coffee with fruity and musky notes. The smell is a bit faint because this batch a just a bit drier than I’d like.

Taste: Despite the drier buds and lighter smell, it tastes good. It tastes citrusy and skunky.

Daniel’s 1-hit Review: I remember when Forbidden Fruit was a new strain and I couldn’t find it anywhere because I was in GA and our cannabis laws are idiotic. I was excited to get this strain. The first thing I noticed when I got this bag was how nasty it looked. The colors are cool looking, but amount of trichomes is ridiculous. You can see why it’s ‘forbidden.’ When I opened the bag, I was a bit disappointed that the smell wasn’t very loud. The smell is there and it’s good, it’s just quiet because these buds are a tad dry. If they were like 4% higher moisture content, these would be perfect. That being said, they aren’t ‘Colorado dry’, where they break into powder when you squeeze them. They are just not ‘perfect’. I try to be picky on these reviews because I can’t have everything be “Amazeballs.” I want to give honest critiques based upon the 1000s and 1000s of flowers I’ve seen over the last 25 years of doing this. Despite being a little drier than perfect, they grind well and they taste good. Forbidden Fruit tastes like it’s genetics of GDP and Tangie – citrusy, peppery, and musky.

When I saw how frosty Forbidden Fruit was, I knew that it was strong. It is strong. I immediately felt it go to my head and make it heavy. I felt like Mr. Mackey in the South Park where smokes and his head inflates and he floats away. Marijawana is bad, M’Kay. Forbidden Fruit was tricky because it’s genetically more sativa, but it hit a lot like an indica. It made me calm and energetic at the same time. Idk how to explain it more. It lasted a long time. This was another strain that made me feel like I was drunk. I’m finding that these strong hybrids are fun because the indica lowers your anxiety and inhibitions and the sativa amps you up, so it’s like drinking 3 airplane bottles of Tito’s really fast – but without the calories or hangover!

Don’t let my ‘dry’ critic stop you from getting Forbidden Fruit. Everything else about is so good that it more than makes up for it.

33.69% THCA

These beautiful buds qualify as industrial hemp and comply with ALL provisions of the 2018 U.S. Farm Bill. There are 2 legal requirements that a product must meet to be legal hemp:

1 . The cannabis plant must be grown under a Federal Hemp License.

2. The finished product must have less than .3% Delta-9 THC

These flowers comply with both. Look at the attached COA and you’ll see the Delta 9 THC is less than .3%.

Here’s the cool part. The Delta 9 THCa can be over 30%. This is not chemically altered or sprayed with anything. These are legit cannabis buds that are harvested before the D9 THC gets ‘hot’ (over .3%). Delta 9 THC and Delta 9 THCa are very similar compounds. In fact, THCa is a precursor to THC. However, they are 100% different, so the Farm Bill counts this as hemp.
