Lemon Cherry Gelato Strain Info

Genetics: LCG is a balanced hybrid. It may be a little sativa ish. Lemon Cherry Gelato is Sunset Sherbet x Pink Panties. This batch looks like it’s heavier on the sherbet and girl scout cookies genetics.

Appearance: Medium sized, light green soft and sticky buds that have white trichomes all over.

Smell: This smells quite strong and like a gelato strain – it’s citrusy, fruity, and a little peppery.

Taste: LCG tastes really good. It tastes more lemon than cherry. It tastes like a lot of gelatos that I’ve gotten. It leaves a strong skunky taste in your mouth.

Daniel’s 1-hit Review: I hadn’t gotten any LCG in a while because I had gotten so much that I got immune to it. One of our Better Than Niners asked me if I was gonna get more because it helps with his migraines, so I made a mental note to get some if I saw it and it became available about a week later, so I figured it was a sign, so I ordered it. I forgot why LCG is so popular. It’s because it’s a great strain.

This LCG smells very good and strong. The buds are soft and sticky. They are light green with dark green and purple tips. All the crevices are loaded up with crystals. The buds are all kinda small – like the size of a marble. This is my only criticism of this LCG. Bud size doesn’t bother me and it shouldn’t really bother anyone because you grind it up anyways. This is a good batch of bud.

I have a lot of experience with LCG, so I took my one hit of this before going to a lunch meeting on Monday afternoon. Man, it’s this a good hybrid. It blended into my day and lifted my mood so subtly that I almost want to say I didn’t feel it, but I did. It was like I wasn’t stoned at all, but it was working. I drove down 400 and didn’t get mad at traffic or idiots. I had a great lunch meeting and a great day. I don’t want this to come across as LCG is weak because I don’t have a story about waking up at a rest stop in Alabama when I was just going to Sandy Springs. It’s 35.9% THCa is one of the highest I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t knock the shit the out of you like some of these do. Or maybe I was totally trashed, but it eliminated my anxiety to the point of me not caring. Now, I think I should do another review tomorrow. If I do, I’ll update this.

You know how some strains can give you anxiety? I think that a lot of that anxiety comes from worrying that people know you’ve been smoking. That’s a remnant of when I was younger and had to hide this from everyone. Now that I don’t care if I look and smell like I was rolling around in flowers, I don’t get anxiety as much. I even like sativa now!

I recommend this LCG for everyone because it’s so balanced and versatile. It’s the kind of flower that goes with anything because it enhances whatever you’re doing.
