Mean Momma Cannabis Strain Info

Genetics: Sativa Leaning Hybrid cross of OG Kush and Gorilla Glue #4.

Appearance: The buds are dense and sticky like GG#4. They are light shades of green and covered in red hairs. All the buds are shaped liked little Christmas Trees.

Smell: Mean Momma smells sweet and citrusy with the sharp piney smell you get from OG Kush.

Taste: It tastes like it smells. It’s a smooth burn to be this fresh.

Daniel’s 1-hit Review: I had never heard of Mean Momma before. When they told me it was GG4 x OGK, I was excited because I like both of the these strains and have had Gorilla OG. Just in case you didn’t know, there isn’t any type of regulatory body that governs cannabis strain names. They are made up by whoever. With experience, you’ll begin to notice the smells, tastes, effects, flower structure, etc. and can guess a strain assuming that the genotype is not showing tons of recessive traits.

The first thing I noticed about Mean Momma was how sparkly and sticky the trichomes were. That’s the Gorilla Glue genetics. It smelled sweet, citrusy, and piney. The smell gave away the Sativa genetics. Personally, I think that sativas smell better than indicas, overall. I prefer the effects of indicas, but sativas typically have those bright, energizing smells. Just like the Blue Cheese, Mean Momma smelled even better after getting ground up. I took my standard 1-hit test and she’s good. The smoke is smooth and mild and tastes like pine and citrus. The sativa effects come fast with a rush of energy and euphoria. However, there’s enough indica to prevent the manic energy from becoming anxious energy which makes me pace around in circles like an extra from One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. If you’ve read my reviews, you know that I’m careful with sativa because it can give me paranoia. Mean Momma has just enough indica to keep my mental under control and still enjoy the creative and energetic boost that makes sativas so popular.

Here’s the cool part. The Delta 9 THCa can be over 30%. This is not chemically altered or sprayed with anything. These are legit cannabis buds that are harvested before the D9 THC gets ‘hot’ (over .3%). Delta 9 THC and Delta 9 THCa are very similar compounds. In fact, THCa is a precursor to THC. However, they are 100% different, so the Farm Bill counts this as hemp.
