Daniel’s 1-hit Review: Black Blizzard is a new strain to me. So is Black Rose. I know Snowcap and I like Snowcap. One of my friends grew some really good outdoor snowcap when I live in CA. The first thing I noticed and liked about the Black Blizzard was the smell. It’s different from the ‘candy’ smell that everything seems to have now. This one is piney and kushy, but has a fresh mint smell I really liked. The colors and trichomes are all boutique level.

Do yall realize how desensitized we are to how spoiled we are with good flower? Any one of our boutique flowers in stock right now would’ve blown people’s minds and commanded $450-$650 an ounce 15 years ago. Anything with significant purple was easy $600/oz in 2010. Now, I’m like, “Yeah, it’s all purple and orange with bright green and tons of crystals, but it’s only okay because ladies in the office next door haven’t complained about the smell.”

All 7 strains of flowers that I’ve gotten from our new grower, JR, have been exceptional. These are the Super Sauce, Bull Run, Slapz, Black Blizzard, Alaskan Ice, Cadillac Gas, and Mango Tango. The first 3 were all good, but had similar nose, so I told him to show off some variety and he did. These last 4 are all very different from one another.

This Black Blizzard is a chill indica. It doesn’t bum rush you into submission. It doesn’t sneak up on you and punch you in the throat. It’s inviting – warm, cozy, hospitable, and understanding – like a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows.

It was a very calm and relaxing. Definitely good after a long day of working, exercising, or just wanting to wind day before bedtime.

These flowers comply with both. Look at the attached COA and you’ll see the Delta 9 THC is less than .3%.

Here’s the cool part. The Delta 9 THCa can be over 30%. This is not chemically altered or sprayed with anything. These are legit cannabis buds that are harvested before the D9 THC gets ‘hot’ (over .3%). Delta 9 THC and Delta 9 THCa are very similar compounds. In fact, THCa is a precursor to THC. However, they are 100% different, so the Farm Bill counts this as hemp.
