Mind Bending Sativa Dom

Ocifer Strain Info – Boutique*

This is Ocifer F3 (11/10/25). Same grower, same batch of seeds, totally different results. More on this below.

Genetics: Sativa Dominant cross of Cap Junky x Rosetta Stone

Appearance: Long, thin buds that are pale greens and yellows with bright orange pistils. Intimidating, white trichome coverage.

Smell: Either piney citrus or cheese. I smell the cheese and it changes between cheddar and parmesan to me. If you remember the UK Cheese strains from a while back, this is a supercharged version of that.

Taste: Savory, piney, fruity, there’s a lot going on.

Daniel’s 1-hit Review:

11/10/2025 Batch: Well, CJBJ, in collaboration with Mother Nature, has produced a new Ocifer pheno that’s completely different from the 1st two. There are, however, a few similarities – these flowers are so unique and so fire.

I think we all owe Ocifer a debt of gratitude for the educational lesson she’s given us. The Cap J is always the same because she comes from clones. Ocifer is from seeds, so you don’t know what genes will be expressed until you grow it. I got a sneak peek of this Ocifer pheno back in the beginning of the year and was hoping she’d show up again.

What I love about this strain is it has that classic cheese smell a al UK Cheese. These genetics are so rare to come by, so I love getting them. NOW, if you don’t like cheese or know cheese strains, don’t assume you won’t like this. It isn’t like a dairy strain or anything. It has an cheese undertone smell. Very unique and very cool.

Now, for the effects. To me, it’s less functional than the first Ocifer, but more functional than the 2nd (9/15) batch. As evidenced by me not finishing the review of F2 because I must’ve gotten distracted and completely forgot to come back and me sitting here and finishing this one. I did almost forget, so we aren’t worlds apart. ( and now I’m laughing uncontrollably because of something.)

I can feel the sativa in this because I don’t feel like sitting still and writing. I feel like getting up and moving around. I’m also having trouble typing because I’m forgetting where the keys are. That’s weird because I’ve known how to type literally since I can remember and I forgot where the “” were. I had to look at the keyboard. Jeez.

The sativa is making my adhd kick in and my brain is all over the place. I feel good, happy, creative, etc. Just sped up.

I’d say this is daytime as far as energy, but be careful because you could get overwhelmed if you’re sensitive to sativas.

This top quality product no matter how you evaluate it. Enjoy!

9/14/2025 Batch:

This is going to be educational for yall and fun for me. I’m going to take yall on a journey into how strains happen.

Here’s some baseline info so that we’re all on the same page:

  1. This is from the same farm, same grower, same growing conditions, and same batch of seeds as the Ocifer we got back in January.
  2. This batch is COMPLETELY different from the first one. I wouldn’t have believed this was Ocifer if the grower didn’t tell me. There are literally zero similarities to the first Ocifer he grew.
  3. Although it’s completely different, it’s still the exquisite quality we’ve come to expect from BJ. In fact, I think it’s looks and structure are better than the first pheno.

11/10/25 OOPs: It appears that I forgot to finish the review of this batch of Ocifer. If you got some, then you’ll understand how this could have happened. I described it as ‘mind-bending’ and stand behind that. I guess it doesn’t matter because we only have a 7 and 3.5 left. If you got some, you did good. If you missed out, you’re in luck because I just got a new batch BUT…..It’s completely different from this one. So, I even if you got the Sept 15th batch, you have to get the Nov. 10 batch because it’s like a new strain. See above.

1/5/2025 Batch:

We’re starting to do these in videos, so check back for that. This Ocifer is from the same grower that produced Cap Junky and Scented Marker, so if you had either of them, then already have an idea of what a treat you’re in for with Ocifer.

I’m not gonna spend a ton of time of the physical properties because they are above and I’d rather talk about what makes this batch cool. Ocifer looks, smells, and tastes great. It is a very motivating and functional sativa. You’ll get ideas to do stuff AND you’ll actually do them. A lot of sativas give me great ideas, but I don’t follow through. There’s a good chance that you’ll complete tasks with Ocifer.

What makes this batch cool is that all the plants are grown from seeds, so there are variations within the batch. This is authentic Brothers Grimm Ocifer. Don’t take this the wrong way like you don’t know what you’re getting like Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates. Maybe it is kinda like that because you know you’re gonna get a chocolate, you just don’t know what’s in it. Anyways…

The variation is not dramatic like there are different strains mixed up. It’s very subtle, but if you look, smell, and taste you’ll find that there is some variety. Honestly, I can’t tell visually (fyi – i’m legally blind in my left eye and my right eye isn’t amazing, vision is my weakest sense). I can tell by the smell and the taste – more the taste. The first bud I smoked tasted like Jack Herer and the hit I just took tasted like pink cotton candy or pink bubble gum. This is very cool to me.

Ocifer’s grower is one of the most knowledgeable growers I’ve met during my 25 years doing this. I love just listening to him tell me about the flowers we’re getting. It’s like “Farm to Table” except about 30x cooler because it’s ‘hemp’ grown here in GA.

I like this Ocifer. It’s definitely given me a whole lot of physical and mental energy.

*Not all coupons work on boutique flowers. The flowers are expensive and in limited supply, so we can’t discount them like other stuff.

These beautiful buds qualify as industrial hemp and comply with ALL provisions of the 2018 U.S. Farm Bill. There are 2 legal requirements that a product must meet to be legal hemp:

1 . The cannabis plant must be grown under a Federal Hemp License.

2. The finished product must have less than .3% Delta-9 THC

These flowers comply with both. Look at the attached COA and you’ll see the Delta 9 THC is less than .3%.

Here’s the cool part. The Delta 9 THCa can be over 30%. This is not chemically altered or sprayed with anything. These are legit cannabis buds that are harvested before the D9 THC gets ‘hot’ (over .3%). Delta 9 THC and Delta 9 THCa are very similar compounds. In fact, THCa is a precursor to THC. However, they are 100% different, so the Farm Bill counts this as hemp.
