How we got Rainbow Road is a funny story. I called my grower and placed an order like usual. He got it ready, shipped it, and sent me the tracking. Later that day or the next day, he texted me, “Oh. I forgot to tell you that I put an extra pound of deps in your box. They were so good that I knew you and your clients would like it. You don’t have to pay for it until after you sell it if that’s not cool.”

It should be obvious that we have a great relationship because he sends me a random pound and says just pay whenever. FYI – I paid for it with the rest of my order because I didn’t want to remember and I hate owing people money. But the point is that Rainbow Road was an happy accident.

These are some of the best light deps I’ve ever seen. They could pass as indoor to someone who doesn’t know the telltale signs of indoor/greenhouse. Visually, the only thing that gives the grow style away are the stems. They are whiter than indoor would be. Also, it smells like light deps. Now, on to the effects.

It’s effects surprised me more than it’s appearance. I def underestimated it and was like, “It’s deps. It’s not that strong”, so I took my 1 hit while I was publishing the new strains on the website. That wasn’t a great idea because I had trouble focusing and staying on task. I even had about a 15 minute mini ‘sativa panic attack’.

This was interesting because I was wondering how the genetics are ‘hybrid’ when the parents of Master and Hindu Kush are indica. I still don’t know where the sativa comes from, but I felt it.

To be fair, I had SO much work to do publishing these pages, still had to pack the days orders before UPS cut off, and I have a giant stye on my right eye lid with ointment that impairs my vision to go along with my legally blind left eye from a golf ball accident, so I can’t see shit. I hadn’t eaten lunch either. I guess the combo of 5 stressors on an empty stomach when you can’t see was a recipe for a little freak out.

My point of this story is to demonstrate that Rainbow Road packs a bigger punch than most of the deps that I’ve had recently. Don’t worry about panic attacks on this one because I took another hit just now and I feel great. I usually wait until I’m done with the stressful work before I do ‘1 hits’, but I couldn’t resist trying this Rainbow because it’s the prettiest deps I’ve seen in a while. Turns out that it’s also some of the strongest.

These beautiful buds qualify as industrial hemp and comply with ALL provisions of the 2018 U.S. Farm Bill. There are 2 legal requirements that a product must meet to be legal hemp:

1 . The cannabis plant must be grown under a Federal Hemp License.

2. The finished product must have less than .3% Delta-9 THC

These flowers comply with both. Look at the attached COA and you’ll see the Delta 9 THC is less than .3%.

Here’s the cool part. The Delta 9 THCa can be over 30%. This is not chemically altered or sprayed with anything. These are legit cannabis buds that are harvested before the D9 THC gets ‘hot’ (over .3%). Delta 9 THC and Delta 9 THCa are very similar compounds. In fact, THCa is a precursor to THC. However, they are 100% different, so the Farm Bill counts this as hemp.
